A Clever Title for My Adventures: May 2011

These are Stila lip stains! I have these & also the raspberry, which I've been wearing to work. Looks good with blue scrubs. Anyway, stains are meant to last a long time, but mileage varies & they have been known to dry lips out. That's why these are my favorite. I'm a connoisseur (& a prolific tester) of long-lasting makeup & I'm here to tell you: Stila's stains are hands-down the longest lasting I've ever encountered. These last me through a 12 hour shift--through eating, drinking, sweating, talking my face off. They are the least drying of any stain I've ever met, but that doesn't mean they don't dry at all. They do. However, most stains don't do well under lip balm or gloss unless they're meant to, & even then it decreases the life of the stain. This stain holds up incredibly well under gloss. Today I'm wearing MAC sheer lipstick in Blast o'Blue over the coconut stain & it's the perfect cool neutral. The Stila stain is available at Sephora.
